Marking Life's Transitions: Coming-of-Age
Today we
will recognize and celebrate the Coming-of-Age ceremony
for five of our eight grade students. This is a
wonderful service that is both empowering and hopeful
for all who attend. Special music will be provided by
Beth and Barry Hall along with Luanne Crosby. Come and
join us for this "spirit-filled" morning!
This is a
sanctuary start for the children.

Mamma Mia!
On this Mother's Day we
will hear stories that will make you laugh, stories that
will make yu cry, and stories that will make you reflect
upon motherhood in general. Whatever your relationship
was/is with your mother, there will be something in this
service for everyone! Bring your singing pipes and good
cheer. Today is all about Moms.

Flower Communion
For the first time in several years, we
will have a Flower Communion service. The Flower
Communion was created by Norman Capek (1870-1942) who
founded the Unitarian Church of Czechoslovakia. The
service was first conducted on June 4, 1923 as a
symbolic ritual to bring people closer together. Members
of the Program Committee, Paul Ross and Kathie Metzger
will lead the service. It is a lovely way to celebrate
spring.
Please bring a flower to
share, and you will receive one in return as a part of
the service.
This is a worship circle
start for the children.

Ask the Minister Sunday
In lieu of a traditional
sermon this morning, you will have an opportunity to ask
Rev.Frado some questions. Curious about her personal
theology? Want to know what she likes best about
ministry or what she likes least? Does she believe in an
afterlife? Or perhaps you're interested in
knowing something about UUism? Almost anything goes,
with obvious good manners and decorum ruling the day.
This is also the day that we will have our high school
bridging ceremony for those seniors graduating.
This is a sanctuary start
for the children.
